Welcome to the Fort River Watershed Association Cleanup!
Join us to help remove trash throughout the entire watershed on September 19. Then, hang out after to celebrate Connecticut River Conservancy’s Source to Sea Cleanup’s 30th anniversary at our post-cleanup festival!
New this year, volunteers will be able to sign up for sites ahead of the event! See the site options listed below to join an event that has a cleanup leader assigned. You can register for a particular group by clicking on their “tile” then clicking Join This Group.
Or, choose to lead a group of volunteers at a different area within the watershed. Head back to the Adopt a Site page, select “Fort River Watershed” under the Multi-Site Group dropdown menu, and create an event on September 19 from 9:30-2pm!
We’ll provide gloves, trash & recycling bags! Please bring a refillable water bottle.
Meeting Location: Groff Park. 83 Mill Lane, Amherst (google map link)
Event Timeline
- 9:30 am – Coffee and Snacks
- 10:00 am – Orientation and send folks to cleanup locations
- 12:00 pm – Return to Groff Park with trash
- 12:00 – 2:00 pm – Food & Fun to Celebrate the 30th S2S Cleanup Year!
