Meeting Location

Wethersfield Cove Park, 533 Main St, Wethersfield CT. Proceed north on Main St and enter Cove Park. Once past the stop sign, go straight ahead to the far end of the parking lot.

Event Description

Using canoes and kayaks, we will paddle to the north side of the Folly Brook channel to gather trash along the shore and what has fallen from I-91. Bring kayak or canoe. PFD’s must be worn while on the water. Bring gloves if you have them, some will be provided. In order to reduce the amount of trash we generate, bring water in a reusable water bottle. Also bring insect repellent and wear appropriate footwear that may get wet or muddy.
