Working on details for parking and staging area for trash once collected. Was going to approach city about use of Green River School parking or Arbors about parking in their spaces that are between the Green River and the Arbors.
Event Description
This group will start in the lot behind Ruggeri’s on Deerfield Street. We will split up and roughly half will go up along the river to the intersection of Mead and River Streets and will work their way back down picking up trash. The other part of the group will go down to Meridian Street and start picking up trash in the empty lot across from The Arbors. All trash will be brought back to the open area just south of Ruggeri’s (without blocking the drive). If there are enough folks, a few can go down to the pocket park where Brooke is and walk north on Deerfield Street collecting trash along the way.
There may also be a small, experienced group cleaning up the ravine at the end of Congress Street (access is from Hope Street). Staging for trash from that site tbd.
