We will be meeting at the  Sheldon Field Parking Area on Old Ferry Road and then dispersing from there.

Event Description

In collaboration with Pedal People, our team will be focus on cleaning the river shoreline across from Mitch’s island. Be sure to bring a water bottle and dress for the weather – consider wearing long pants/sleeves. I will have a supply of work gloves, bags to gather trash, and sunscreen/bug spray. If you have your own bucket to gather trash, trash grabbers, or trash bags – bring them along with you. The Pedal People Cooperative will be joining us to help clean up the shoreline and will also be using their bicycles with trailers to haul out the trash we collect. We are thrilled to have them joining us as they model the use of human power as a viable alternative to fossil fuels.
