Event Description

🌍 Join Girl Scout Troop 10037 for a Day of Service! 🌱

We invite you to be part of a meaningful community effort as Troop 10037 Juniors and Cadettes come together to care for our environment.

As part of their Think Like a Citizen Scientist Journey for the 2025–2026 Scouting year, the girls will participate in a river clean-up. This day of service will not only support our local community but may also grow into their Take Action Project.

Event: River Clean-Up Day

Who: Troop members, families, and community supporters
Why: To give back to our environment and work toward our Journey and Take Action goals!

Schedule of the Day:
10:00 AM – Welcome & Sign-In
10:15 AM – Safety & supply distribution (gloves, bags, and tools provided)
10:30 AM – 12:00 PM – River & field clean-up
12:00 PM – 12:30 PM – Wrap up & loading cars

What to Bring:
Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes (think rain boots, hiking boots, etc – NO CROCS)
Long sleeved shirts and pants are highly recommended
A reusable water bottle
Sunscreen, hat, or other sun protection

Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
