Meet in the Parking Lot at “Kings Island Boat Ramp” (49 Parsons Road in Enfield).

Event Description

We’ll be cleaning trash that is littering the “King’s Island” Parking Lot, Boat Ramp, and Trails along the Connecticut River. The Parking Lot is flat, paved, and accessible. There are some narrow dirt trails along with River – and there is also lots of trash in the shallow part of the river (on the edges of the Boat Ramp). This Clean-Up Site is open to everyone of all ages – but we recommend only Adults (Age 18+) to enter the River. Clean-up Supplies will be provided. For those entering the Woods, we recommend long sleeves, long pants, hat, and closed-toe shoes. (And if you plan to wade into the shallow section of River, have a bathing suit, wetsuit, and water shoes.)
