Meeting Location

Meet in the Parking Lot for the Windsor Locks Canal Trail at 9am. For GPS, use “25 Canal Bank Road, Windsor Locks”. This brings you to the “Montgomery Mills Apartments”. Follow the access road behind the behind and then continue all the way to the very end, near the Park.

Event Description

This is a “combination site” (where some sections are on accessible paved/flat walkways – while other portions are on paths into the Woods, along the flowing Connecticut River). All ages and abilities are welcome to participate (with only Ages 18+ (or Certified Divers) adjacent to the Water). Volunteers are needed in two locations: a) Picking up trash along the “Windsor Locks Canal Trail” (which is flat and paved) – or b) in wooded sections along the River. For those working in the Wooded Sections, be sure to wear long sleeves, long pants, hat, and closed-toe shoes. We’ll meet Saturday Morning, 9am to 10am. Cleanup Supplies will be provided but helpful to bring extra Gloves, Sunscreen, Water Bottles, and Bug Spray with you.
