Event Description

We will be picking up trash along the Canalside Rail Trail and on the grounds of the Great Falls Discovery Center. Trash typically includes bottles, cans, wrappers, food containers, paper, and occasionally syringes. Volunteers will meet outside the main entrance of the Great Falls Discovery Center to get cleanup supplies, check-in with our clean-up coordinator, and pick a spot along the trail to pick up trash. Then families and individuals can disperse to pick up trash all along the 3.5 mile long Canalside Rail Trail or on the grounds of the Great Falls Discovery Center. Trash will be left in bags at designated intersections on the trail.
