CT DEEP State Boat Launch off of Alexander Road in New Britain. Parking is available at the boat launch.
Event Description
We’ll meet at the boat launch at 9am, get organized and give out cleanup supplies and head out to start picking up trash. The pond shoreline is accessible on foot from the boat launch area. Trash can also be picked up by boat (kayaks/canoes or a small jon boat to reach coves and snag floating debris). There are no toilets on site. We will be working in coordination with Joey Listro with New Britain ROOTS, and Neil Connors with Batterson Park Conservancy.
