Wetlands off Essex St

Site Description

On Essex Street heading toward Essex on the right side of street, below the railroad tracks in a wetlands. (If you continue on Essex Street and you see a sign on the opposite-Dright side of the street that says “Smyth Sanctuary,” you have gone too far.) Not a trash site. This is a wetlands with a disintegrating single tire thrown down a steep bank into the wetlands — the tire has been in this location for at least two years! It is visible and accessible from the road after climbing down the steep bank.
