Water’s Edge Near End of Burma Rd

Site Description

Last weekend, I was paddling in the CT south of Claremont Boat Launch (AKA Ashley Ferry Landing) and encountered a huge number of old tires along the water’s edge. They were mostly located on the NH side of the river, south of Hubbard Island, and close to the west end of Burma Road. I counted about 30 tires but there could have been many more. This area is quite steep – it may require a boat to remove the tires.
