Site Description
Springdale Park off Main Street in Holyoke abuts the CT River. Walking along the length of the riverbank at the Park will yield trash and debris. Walk in the river in the shallow water in order to find submerged tires. Walk 50-75 north of the one outfall pipe that leaves the park and in shallow water there will be a very large carpet that is submerged in the river.
