Slim Shad Point

Site Description

Slim Shad Point is an accessible fishing area just downstream from the Holyoke Dam. It is used by anglers and appears to also have some overnight use. It is mostly small trash and debris, but there may be sharps present. From the access road to the Barrett Fishway, there are clearly marked signs and an accessible walkway down to the river.
Closest address is 2 N Bridge St, Holyoke, MA 01040. The Slim Shad address puts in across the bridge in South Hadley.
