Meeting Location
Volunteers will meet at the southern access point of the Windsor Locks Canal State Park Trail, near Main Street (CT-159) and Bridge Street (CT-140). This location will serve as the central staging area for check-in, safety briefing, team assignments, supply distribution, and collection of cleanup materials at the end of the event.
Event Description
Join the Ahlstrom Windsor Locks Source to Sea Cleanup and help protect the waterways in our own backyard! Volunteers will meet at the Windsor Locks Canal State Park Trail for a brief safety overview before dividing into teams to clean the trail, canal side, and safely accessible Connecticut River areas.
Please wear weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy closed-toe shoes. Cleanup supplies, gloves, and high-visibility vests will be provided. We’ll finish by gathering at the staging area to celebrate our impact and take a group photo.
