Putney Landing

Site Description

This is a very accessible boat landing. Some parking is available. It’s not a site where a lot of stuff has been dumped, necessarily. I am interested in this site because it is my home community, there is not a group collecting yet here, and I am hoping to generate interest among others in the Putney community. My hope is to walk a fair way down the river (south) and see how widespread litter and trash is.

Trash Description

I haven’t visited the site yet but will do so before the event. I don’t anticipate huge amounts of trash. But it is an area where people can drive right down to the water, and historically I’ve seen a lot of beer cans, evidence of partying.
