Bondis Island Boat Launch

Meeting Location

The cleanup site is the Bondi’s Island Boat Ramp off of Route 5 through the “m-street” exit. After exiting, please be mindful that it is instantly a two-way traffic road. This also means that you should be careful when you’re merging into the highway from the short on-ramp. The exit is used by the facilities in the area, such as Springfield DPW. There is a gravel lot before the boat ramp. Please park there in an orderly fashion as there is no space to park beyond the boat ramp- which should remain clear.

Event Description

On Saturday September 28, 2024, The Rotary Club of Springfield, MA will be leading a group of volunteers in the Annual Source to Sea Cleanup Project with the Connecticut River Conservancy. Club leaders and fellow Rotarians will begin gathering at 08:30am. Thank you all so much for all of your support and energy. Please stay in touch, and register online ASAP if you are attending! The headcount will help us make sure that we have an adequate quantity of supplies.
